Something that got me thinking based on
's post. In all honesty I am a weird individual and thats not exactly a surprising statement if you know me in any way. However what some may not know is I create myself as an individual through the infusion of other's personalities and ideals. So I may as well as list off the largest chunks I draw from.
The first and most primal would have to be Destroyah and Godzilla. As a kid the kaiju where by all means catharsis by proxy. Godzilla originally being the main focus before shifting over to Destroyah having a similar background to the king but taking it to an extreme, lashing out but taking pleasure from it. Hey I never said I was a GOOD person.
Another early influence would be Orochimaru, the man piqued my interest something fierce. Someone who could become anyone on a whim, horrifyingly powerful and on top of that desired more to simply find out who he was. Ringing a bell? Orochimaru was the basis for my own ideals on taking on others to create something new. Doesnt help he was an anarchist and well chaos IS something I love.
Darth Sidious was a rather interesting but relatively small influence compared to another I have yet to bring up. The man is evil plain and simple but he is just so in love with his own diabolical nature I cant help but go along with it.
Albert Wesker. We come to another very LARGE influence as when I first encountered him his strength is what made me look twice and then when I looked into his ideals and demeanor it clicked for me. Through him I gain my own pragmatic if could side and ruthlessness. His personality and mannerisms have actually gotten me through periods of life especially when it comes to people I disdain. That and I personally find his plan for the world to be very interesting and practical on some levels, the only thing I am not a fan of is the god complex. Removes any real growing possibilities.
Herr Major. Yet another massive influence. Major is someone I embody rather frighteningly closely. His utter mania of destruction and love of the battlefield has certainly rubbed off not only that but his for-planning. If you where to just listen to the man you would understand his infectious personality. Through him I learned the pleasures of not only victory but defeat and the moment itself.
Alucard. In the same vein as Major Alucard clearly enjoys what he does but some of it is a mask to cover some dark and quite frankly tragic internal feelings and I can not only sympathize but relate. Especially when it comes to his ideals of humanity. I truly tire of being constantly right about our species and so wish to remove myself from it. Then again like Alucard I WANT to be proven wrong. I want our species to do something great and grow out of our squalor and hatred for eachother.
Discord. It is rather obvious I am advocator for chaos and early villainous Discord embodies my own chaotic playful side, the light hearted aspects of chaos that make life interesting and not so dull.
Bill Cipher. If Discord is my light hearted side Bill is my malicious side. Very few people see that part but those who have dun goofed hard. This aspect of me is reserved for tormenting and toying with those whom I feel truly deserve it which is very few.
Speaking of Chaos the four chaos gods are something to learn from and look up to at times.
Khorne- While being a deity of blood and violence there is some wisdom to be gleaned from Khorne. Khorne despised cowards and quite frankly is rather honorable in combat. This and he is a clear advocator for survival of the fittest something I cant find many downsides to these days *coughs* tide pods *coughs*. In the words of George Carlin, do kids even know what a fuckin stick is anymore?
Nurgle- Nurgle is the plague god. Despite being a creature of despair he and his kin are rather jovial. Nurgle teaches us how to endure and not worry about hardships so much. He is also the lord of stagnancy and cycles being rather close to nature incarnate. But he is my least favorite of the pantheon which is rather telling of my own weaknesses isnt it?
Tzeentch- one of my patron deities, the Lord of Change is exactly that change incarnate which is always welcome being neither benevolent nor malevolent. Tzeentch is also the lord of knowlege while he is the patron of cruel schemes and devious plots without Tzeentch there too would not be anyone clever enough to stop said schemes and nothing would ever get done.
Slaanesh- My favored of the pantheon and personal patron. Slaanesh is the lady of indulgence and exess, as well as perfection. Slaanesh is perhaps the most obviously self gratifying of the gods but tits through her that we can continue to hone ourselves into something better and have good times along the way, but without slaanesh there too would not be any hard times to make those happy moments mean anything.
Frieza is also a rather interesting influence, I personally strive to embody his eloquent mannerisms but at the same time to caution myself from his failings. Its rude to play with ones food for too long after all. But then again sometimes I sadly fall into the same trappings.
These two are very recent but I can already tell they are something big. Junko Enoshima the Ultimate Despair and Tanya Degurechaff. For Junko its rather easy to see, a manic woman hellbent on sewing despair into everyone? Hell yes please. While that does go against parts of myself its something I cant help, I enjoy watching those who deserve it break down slowly over time, or I feel elation whenever a villain wins. I do so enjoy indulging my own dark desires whenever possible even if it is just a simple power trip by proxy, unlike most people I can admit to myself I am in no way a good creature on the inside. Like the Major she is unbothered by any losses and in fact welcomes it just the same and that is something I am currently learning. As for Tanya her villainy is very interesting to watch but not something I havent already incorporated. No its her forethought and battle tactics I wish to take in to hone my own mind further and plan for the future in extreme detail the same as she does.
George Carlin. This comedian speaks to me a great deal, I cant help myself but agree with virtually everything he says. Truly he was a fascinating mind far ahead of his time.
Music is also a rather large influence on me. Certain songs may describe my current mood or soothe me, its something I enjoy quite a bit. My favorite bands maybe Rammstein and Disturbed but thanks to the Godzilla franchise I have a massive love for orchestra as well.
Kaltes, you are a continuous influence on me. You are not only my brother in arms but someone whom I strive to keep up with in my own way. While I remain an inky blackness you are above that and its something I can handily respect on multiple levels, but at the same time you get me, despite my constantly churning and changing ways you know me on a deep level and thats something I will forever adore. *chuckles* in fact the only other who can keep up with me is my girlfriend who I hope you'll be fast friends with on your arrival. Heres to our glorious war on the world! Our declaration of war with every breath we take and our continuous survival!
